André Bohren, Pianist

André Bohren is a lifelong musician, having played professionally from the age of 14. Growing up in a musical environment and picking up many different instruments helped keep his interests varied. André is a well-versed classical pianist who pulls from a deep repertoire built from over 30 years of study. Additionally, he plays drums with a multitude of bands, notably Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes, Rory Danger and the Danger Dangers, The Walrus, The Desert Nudes, and his late father, Spencer Bohren. André is also an in-demand studio musician, record producer and musical arranger.

As this year’s festival season quickly approaches in New Orleans, André is excited to be part of multiple shows at Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, and the revived Chaz Fest! Performing with seven different artists at Jazz Fest, three at French Quarter Fest, and two at Chaz Fest, you’d be hard pressed to miss him in the coming months.
